Nitre Blue Accessories

We are happy to offer our custom Nitre Blue pin set and grip screw sets for sale.  These are done in house in batches and while we strive to keep the colors of each batch as close as possible there will be some variation from batch to batch.  Nitre Blue is a hot salt process that leaves the pins and screws a brilliant blue color that compliments your 1911 finish.

The pin set includes one each of the following:

• Hammer Pin
• Sear Pin
• Mainspring Housing Retainer Pin
• Mainspring Housing Pin
• Plunger Pins
• Magazine Catch Lock
  

The grips screw sets are offered in either standard slotted or hex head and include four screws of either type.

Additionally, we do offer Nitre Bluing on the pin end of your carbon steel thumb safety and slide stop for an additional cost for the complete look on your 1911.  Email us for pricing and details for this option.  Also, some parts may not be acceptable for Nitre Bluing.

Please note, Nitre Bluing is not as durable as black oxide or hot bluing.  The color on these pins will wear off more rapidly than other finishes.
